The rewriting of the Magnuson Act1976 has caused a rupture of common sense and the opportunity for special interest group's to set unrealistic result's for a population of ocean dwellers to be fully recovered to 100% at the same time within a ten year window.There are so many question's unanswered and the one's that are asking are continuously ignored.NOAA,the agency that is supposed to have the answers through science,and has the staff to deliver these answers,fail's to provide any reliable data.Most of the data is purchased from sub-contracting group's that the management of NOAA has had longstanding relationship's with.The way the reformulated Magnuson-Stevens Act is persieved,allows broad interpritation for the rule maker's,NOAA,and thier enforcement division,NMFS, which is under investigation.
