A couple of weeks back, the fabulous Carol and I brought her granddaughter back home after a much too short visit. Carols daughter, and son in law,Michelle, and Kevin, are like many others in this flat economy, looking for creative ways to cope. They have started an on line company called Obe Bla Da, and they make a variety of home baked goods, and Kevin is also roasting Coffee beans, searching for that special blend.
The baked goods are eye appealing and absolutely delicious, with cookies, cakes, whoopee pies, and cupcakes being the premier products. The cupcakes are splendidly elegant and there are many variety's to choose from, making a favorite tough to rise to the top! They are located in the South Shore area of eastern Massachusetts, and every weekend, they set up at the Farmers Market in Carver Mass. This was also the destination to drop off Miah.
I met a lot of interesting vendors, and was impressed with the variety of products purveyed. The different produce vendors had the most beautiful vegetables, and the prices were reasonable. There were all types of products on hand. Hand crafted jewelry, fresh lobster, photographs, leather goods. You name it,you could probably find it.
If you are in the area, it would be a fine destination.
