The fisher.

A scene that was a common sight on the South Shore many years ago. Now an exceptional sight.

The house on stilts is a place of my favorite memorys of the friends I've met along the way.

Returning from a charter trip aboard the "Cathy Ann"

Coming in with a few boxes of New England ground fish.

Unloading the catch.

Facing the village of Brant Rock.

Another wooden beauty, with the village of Green Harbor in the back ground.

A classic wooden lobsterboat.

As I remember my favorite place, it still looks the same. Green Harbor. My boyhood playground.
Made a stop and took a few shots of my boyhood playground, Green Harbor, a traditional lobster and fishing village. The charter boats are plentiful, and if you find yourself there, the opportunity to go fishing is readily available. It has not changed very much in the last fifty years or so. There are plenty of plastic boats, but, there are some wooden ones. I favor a wooden boat, even though the maintenance is more robust, and time consuming,.
