LOS ANGELES — A group of Sarah Palin associates launched a sharp attack Wednesday against "Game Change," saying the TV movie offers a false portrayal of the former Alaska governor that is fueled by the animus of a few disgruntled campaign officials.
"This is sick," said Meghan Stapleton, Palin’s former press secretary in Alaska. "The media has gone too far.
"You accepted the false narrative of a couple of people who sought revenge and fabricated a story more than three years ago, and who are now only happy to confirm their own fictitious events to rewrite history."
HBO offered to screen the film for Palin, but she declined.
The two-hour film portrays Palin as painfully unaware of world affairs
