So much for that silly “innocent until proven guilty” nonsense.
You’d think the needless death of a 17-year-old in Florida would be tragedy enough. Apparently not for the faculty of Framingham State, the Swampscott students and even our governor — all who feel the need to pile stupidity on top of tragedy in this racially-charged case.
Seriously, Gov. Deval Patrick — pushing your long-forgotten anti-racial-profiling law as a “tribute to Trayvon?” This is, essentially, part of a primary-enforcement seat belt law. Is that worth whipping up racial tensions in Massachusetts?
And if Framingham State really cares about “justice,” how does declaring George Zimmerman a “state-sanctioned murderer” help?
I remember when liberals like Patrick and the college egghead crowd were all about defending the rights of the accused. I seem to recall a certain Massachusetts Democrat sending a $5,000 check to convicted rapist Ben LaGuer to help pay for a DNA test (with, alas, unfortunate results).
It’s quite enlightening to watch angry leftists peel off their “Free Mumia!” T-shirts and replace them with their new “Kill George Zimmerman!” models
