Elizabeth Warren this morning shrugged off weak job numbers released just hours after President Obama pleaded for more time to jump-start the economy at the Democratic National Convention.
The Democratic Senate candidate, fresh from her prime time speech Wednesday night at the DNC in Charlotte, N.C., said she wouldn’t put too much stock in the jobs numbers, saying “this is really about the vision of how we build jobs.”
The U.S. Labor Department’s latest jobs report show U.S. employers added just 96,000 jobs last month, while the unemployment rate fell to 8.1 percent from 8.3, according to the report, released this morning.
