Elizabeth Warren faced the press in her first availability as Senator-elect and her performance is leaving some a little baffled.
Senator-elect Warren appeared guarded in front of reporters and her answers were curt.
When asked about defense spending, she gestured to the governor to answer. The governor told her "defense spending is you." She laughed and replied, "Oh, that's mine. That's right."
Warren then said she felt the key thing is that "this should not be about across the board cuts."
Even Warren's answers to the non-controversial questions were short. Especially when FOX 25's Sharman Sacchetti asked about her take on the women who turned out to vote for her and the all-female delegation in New Hampshire. Warren simply answered "I'm glad." When asked if it was surprising she would only say, "I'm glad that the women turned out to vote for me. I'm delighted."
