Investigators have recovered “hundreds” of photos and videos of children as young as eight days old being raped by an illegal Wakefield day care worker, who photographed the horrific abuse over two years and memorialized it in a computer file labeled “Little 2,” a prosecutor disclosed yesterday in court filings.

John Burbine, 49, a Level 1 sex offender, is also accused of repeatedly molesting multiple children from multiple families who entrusted him to care for their kids overnight.

“The defendant (Burbine) was brought into the homes of the parents of the victims to keep their children safe and violated them in every way possible,” Middlesex Assistant District Attorney Katelyn K. Draper told a clerk-magistrate yesterday.
